Asef Duratovic: Considering machines in the future as a service instead of a capital good marks a very big paradigm shift for us and our customers. In addition, with this for- ward-looking business model, we entered what was then an unpredictable period of a wide variety of geopolitical events, charac- terized by a shortage of materials and raw materials, increased inflation, and even the Corona pandemic. Despite all the adversity, our new business model is performing above our expectations. At the same time, demand continues to increase, which confirms our path and further motivates us – although the need for consultation remains high, finan- cially, economically and technologically, in the current early stages of such business models. So explain: What makes the EaaS offering by PAYZR so attractive? Asef Duratovic: In a dynamic, volatile and uncertain market environment, the need for resilience dominates the manufacturing In addition, the provision of the latest tech- nological standards plays an essential role. Improving equipment efficiency, and thus maximizing the uptime of machines and making the most efficient use of equipment possible, are becoming more and more important, especially for securing a compa- ny's competitiveness. That sounds rather abstract. What does it mean in concrete terms? Asef Duratovic: The avoidance of capital tied up long-term, the better planning security through price and cost transparency, and the economic flexibility of usage-based billing are very obvious benefits.
